Maison Lotus is a French-Vietnamese restaurant that wanted a mural for their main dining room. They were looking for something with a lot of foliage, lotus flowers, and modern Vietnamese women with a 60's aesthetic.The goal was to compliment the colors in the restaurant along with the banana palm wallpaper. The lotus flower the main theme of the mural.
